Younus College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) was established in 2002 by the Fathima Memorial Educational Trust in Kollam. It is the first self-financing college in Kollam, recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Government of Kerala. Affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, YCET is also the first self-financing college in Kollam to receive NAAC accreditation.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Placement Officer located in Quilon. The Placement Officer will be responsible for managing campus placements, coordinating with companies to organize recruitment drives, and providing career counseling to students. Additionally, the Placement Officer will be involved in training students for interviews and enhancing their employability skills. The role also includes liaising with educational institutions and industry professionals to create job opportunities for students.

Qualifications

• Experience in Campus Placement and career counseling
• Strong Communication and Training skills
• Background in Education and student guidance
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and industry partners
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
• Experience in a similar role within an educational institution is a plus
