About the Role:

Placement Officer (IT)

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and collaborate with IT companies, startups, and recruitment partners for student placements.
• Coordinate and manage campus placement activities, job fairs, and interview drives.
• Maintain and update placement records, student profiles, and company databases.
• Counsel and prepare students for interviews through mock sessions, resume guidance, and soft skill training.
• Understand current IT industry trends, technologies, and job market requirements.
• Develop strong employer relationships to enhance placement opportunities.
• Ensure continuous follow-up with employers and students post-placement.
• Prepare and present placement reports and analytics to management.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in IT, Computer Science, HR, or related fields).
• Minimum

  1 year of experience

  in

  IT recruitment or placement coordination

  .
• Strong network with IT companies and recruitment partners.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of current IT technologies, job roles, and skill trends.
• Ability to multitask and meet placement targets.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and database management.
