Job Description

Description

We are seeking a skilled Piping Inspector to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspecting piping systems and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a thorough understanding of piping materials and inspection methodologies.

Responsibilities

Conduct inspections of piping systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Review engineering drawings and technical documentation related to piping systems.
Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, and magnetic particle testing.
Identify and document any defects or non-conformities in piping materials and workmanship.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to project management and engineering teams.
Ensure that all inspections are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and quality assurance procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in piping inspection or quality control in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or construction industries.
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
Proficient in non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques and methodologies.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to identify defects and non-conformities.
Excellent communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with team members.
