Piping Designer

As a Piping Designer for Hyperscale Data Center Modules, your main responsibilities will include: - Checking and approving drawings/designs to ensure accuracy, reliability, efficiency, and safety of the piping scope of work - Communicating effectively with interfaces and ensuring the deliverables meet customer requirements and Industrial Standards - Providing and checking drawings/Bill of Materials (BOM) as per customer requirements - Preparing bulk Material Take Offs (MTOs) and detailed Bill of Materials (BOMs) independently - Producing various Mechanical and Piping deliverable drawings and documents such as piping layout/general arrangements, piping isometrics, piping schedule, etc. - Reviewing vendor data and drawings for compliance with client specifications or standards - Creating specifications as needed Qualifications required for this role: - Educational Qualification: Technical Certification in the design discipline - Experience: 5-9 years in piping design and drafting for Hyperscale Data Center Modules or related industry - General knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations relevant to piping - Ability to work with CADWorx (Highly preferred) and other relevant software programs for piping - Fluency in written and verbal English - Experience with software programs like Autodesk VAULT, Windchill, SAP, Solidworks, AutoCAD is a plus In addition to the above, the ideal candidate should have experience in adapting to various software programs within and outside piping, as well as the ability to produce drawings/sketches to illustrate designs and ideas effectively.
