Physical Education Teacher

Role Overview - The Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, and overall well-being among students. The role involves organizing and conducting sports, games, and physical activities while ensuring discipline, safety, and enthusiasm in the sporting culture of the school. Key Responsibilities - Plan, organize, and deliver engaging P.E. lessons as per CBSE curriculum. Train students in multiple sports (indoor & outdoor) and encourage participation in inter-school competitions. Ensure physical fitness and development programs are age-appropriate. Maintain discipline, safety, and motivation during all physical activities. Organize annual sports events, fitness assessments, and co-curricular sporting activities. Identify and nurture students with special sporting talent. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate health and fitness into the overall school curriculum. Eligibility Criteria - Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed. / B.P.Ed.) – mandatory as per CBSE norms. Prior 5 years experience in teaching/mentoring sports & physical activities at school/college level preferred. Can speak fluently English, Hindi, Bengali Strong knowledge of CBSE physical education curriculum and sports regulations. Excellent communication, discipline management, and motivational skills. Passion for fitness, wellness, and student engagement.
