PHP Wordpress Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced WordPress & Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in building, customising, and maintaining websites on both WordPress and Shopify platforms. You will work closely with our design, marketing, and content teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly websites and eCommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites including themes, plugins, and integrations.
• Build and optimize Shopify stores, including theme customisation, app integration, and performance enhancements.
• Collaborate with designers to implement responsive, pixel-perfect front-end designs.
• Optimise websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and debug website issues across different browsers and devices.
• Implement third-party APIs, payment gateways, and custom functionalities.
• Maintain website security, backups, and regular updates.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress, Shopify, and web development trends.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress and Shopify development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, and Liquid.
• Experience with custom themes and plugin/app development.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and website performance optimisation.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Knowledge of Shopify APIs and WordPress REST API.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify Plus.
• Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub).
• Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
