PHP Web Developer Codeigniter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PHP Developer with strong expertise in the CodeIgniter framework . The ideal candidate should have at least 1.5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using CodeIgniter. Key Responsibilities : Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter framework. Write clean, reusable, and optimized code. Integrate front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with backend logic. Manage APIs, third-party integrations, and RESTful services. Perform code reviews and optimize application performance. Debug and troubleshoot issues and bugs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, QA, and DevOps. Maintain clear documentation for all development work. Required Skills : Strong knowledge of PHP and CodeIgniter framework. Experience with MySQL or MariaDB databases. Solid understanding of OOPs concepts and MVC architecture . Familiarity with REST APIs , JSON, and AJAX. Experience in using Git or other version control systems. Basic understanding of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery. Good debugging and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with CodeIgniter 3 and 4 Familiarity with cPanel , WHM , or shared hosting environments. Knowledge of other PHP frameworks like Laravel is a plus. Exposure to Agile development practices . Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Minimum 1.5 years of relevant experience in CodeIgniter development.
