PHP Technical Lead

As a Technical Lead - PHP with over 6 years of experience in web development, your primary responsibility will be to lead and mentor a team of PHP developers. You will be required to set the technical direction for the team, aligning development work with project goals, and ensuring the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance web applications using PHP. It will be crucial to adhere to best practices in coding standards and software design, as well as design and manage relational databases using MySQL. Your role will also involve acting as the main point of contact for clients, translating their business requirements into technical solutions. Collaboration with front-end developers will be essential to ensure seamless integration between server-side logic and front-end elements. Additionally, integrating third-party APIs into applications, conducting code reviews, and overseeing testing and debugging processes will be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you must possess a strong knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming and MySQL, along with a good understanding of front-end technologies like JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience in creating database schemas, developing web services, and familiarity with third-party APIs will be beneficial. Proven leadership experience, strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills are key qualifications for this position. Preferred qualifications include relevant certifications in PHP development or web technologies and extensive knowledge of at least one PHP framework such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
