PHP Technical Lead

As a PHP Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of PHP developers to create robust and secure web applications. Your primary duties will include architecting, designing, and maintaining web applications using PHP and related technologies. You will also be in charge of optimizing and managing database schemas, conducting code reviews, and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure application performance. In addition, you will drive technical excellence by promoting best practices in coding, testing, and software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum. Your role will involve participating in the full software development lifecycle, providing technical guidance to junior developers, and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. To qualify for this position, you must have at least 9 years of professional experience in PHP development, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and proven leadership experience in a Tech Lead or Senior Developer role. You should also possess deep expertise in at least one major PHP MVC framework, strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, proficiency in front-end technologies, and solid experience with relational databases like MySQL. Experience with API development, AWS cloud services, performance tuning, and Agile/Scrum methodologies will be advantageous. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are also essential for this role.
