Job Title: PHP & Laravel Developer Location: Somajiguda, Hyderabad, India Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer with strong expertise in Laravel, CodeIgniter, and Symfony frameworks. This role includes team leadership responsibilities, as well as hands-on development to build scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and play a key role in technical decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of PHP developers. Conduct regular code reviews and provide technical guidance. Promote best practices in software development and continuous learning. Coordinate with UI/UX, QA, and project teams to ensure timely and quality delivery. Development & Technical Expertise: Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP-based applications. Work extensively with Laravel, CodeIgniter, and Symfony frameworks. Write clean, secure, scalable, and well-documented code. Ensure performance optimization, error handling, and security standards. Maintain and manage databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL. Project Management & Agile Execution: Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and deployment cycles. Track progress using project management tools and report risks early. Collaborate on defining clear timelines and deliverables. Cross-Team Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business and functional needs. Translate business logic into technical implementations. Ensure smooth coordination across departments for new feature rollouts. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field. Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in PHP development (with live projects). Strong experience in Laravel, CodeIgniter, and/or Symfony (at least 2 frameworks mandatory). Prior experience in a team lead or mentorship capacity preferred. Hands-on knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end workflows. Experience with Git, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and version control workflows. Skills: Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and project coordination abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience working with Docker, CI/CD, or containerization tools. Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON handling, and integrations. Exposure to automated testing tools and unit testing frameworks.
