Job Description

Job Description: As a Junior Engineer with 4.5 to 6 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in our team, primarily focusing on the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack. Your main responsibilities will involve coding, testing, and developing robust back-end solutions. Collaboration with various teams is essential to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performance applications. Your expertise should include strong hands-on experience with PHP and MySQL, a solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming, and an understanding of PHP's synchronous behavior. Familiarity with MVC design patterns is required, with experience in frameworks like Symfony or Zend considered a plus. You should also have experience in API development and integration using REST/SOAP Web Services, along with a strong knowledge of database systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. Understanding performance optimization, scalability issues, and solutions is crucial, as is familiarity with backend API architectures, trends, and emerging technologies. Proficiency in open-source technologies is expected, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. A proactive mindset and efficient issue resolution capabilities are highly valued. Desirable skills include knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, and jQuery, familiarity with languages such as Python, experience with MongoDB, and proficiency in version control systems like GIT and SVN. Ability to contribute to Agile ceremonies and methodologies, along with proficiency in using Jira and Confluence for task tracking and technical documentation creation, is advantageous. Exposure to test-driven development practices and working knowledge of AWS services are also beneficial. Your key responsibilities will involve designing, developing, and maintaining PHP-based applications, writing clean and efficient code following best practices, implementing and maintaining REST/SOAP APIs for application integration, working with relational databases for query design and optimization, and adhering to MVC design patterns with frameworks like Symfony or Zend. Overall, your role will be integral in the successful development and maintenance of our applications, requiring a strong foundation in PHP, MySQL, REST APIs, and open-source development practices.,
