PHP Developer

You should have experience in PHP with a strong foundation in Core PHP. Additionally, you should possess strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks like Zend and Yii. Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP and familiarity with MVC design patterns are essential for this role. A detailed understanding of database design and administration is required, along with the ability to integrate various data sources and databases into a unified system. Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS is also important. You should have an understanding of accessibility and security compliance, as well as knowledge of common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions. Experience with user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments is necessary. You should be able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into a single system, and have experience in building or maintaining a Content Management System (CMS). Knowledge of MVC frameworks like Codeigniter and WordPress is preferred. Strong object-oriented programming skills and a good understanding of both front-end and back-end web development are required. Familiarity with the limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds is expected. Proficiency in creating database schemas that represent and support business processes, as well as knowledge of relational databases and version control tools, particularly MySQL and declarative query language, are essential.
