PHP Developer

As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for managing back-end services and facilitating the exchange of data between the server and users. Your main focus will involve developing server-side logic, maintaining the central database, and ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. Additionally, you will collaborate with your team to integrate front-end elements into the application, requiring a basic understanding of front-end technologies. Your key responsibilities will include developing, testing, and deploying dynamic web applications using PHP. You will work closely with front-end developers to combine user-facing elements with server-side logic, while designing and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code. Integration of data storage solutions, including various databases and key-value stores, will be crucial, along with working on both front-end and back-end aspects of web applications. Furthermore, you will need to ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications, integrate third-party APIs and web services, and develop and maintain RESTful APIs. Identifying bottlenecks and bugs to provide effective solutions, conducting code reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and writing clean, well-documented code will be essential aspects of your role. To be successful in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 1 year of proven work experience as a PHP Developer or in a similar role. A strong command of the PHP programming language and its frameworks, such as Laravel and CodeIgniter, is required. You should have an understanding of full-stack frameworks, micro web frameworks, and asynchronous frameworks, coupled with proficiency in database technologies like MySQL and ORM libraries like Eloquent. Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, familiarity with version control systems like Git, knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and API integration are also necessary. Any experience with front-end technologies and frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, and containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes would be advantageous. This is a full-time job with a day shift schedule, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred for this role. The work location is in-person.,
