Photography and Cinematography Trainer

Sketch Media Academy is looking for a passionate and skilled Photography and Cinematography Trainer to guide and mentor students in the art and technicalities of modern photography and film production. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on expertise in DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lighting, sound, photo/video editing, and a strong ability to teach both foundational and advanced concepts to aspiring media professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training & Instruction
• Conduct theory and practical sessions in Photography and Cinematography.
• Teach camera operations, lighting techniques, composition, visual storytelling, and shot planning.
• Instruct students in Photo Editing (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) and Video Editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Student Development
• Assign creative projects, evaluate student work, and provide individual feedback.
• Guide students in building professional portfolios and showreels.
• Organize photowalks, live shoots, and hands-on workshops as part of the learning process.
• Academic Support
• Maintain attendance records and monitor student performance.
• Ensure curriculum delivery as per academic standards and timelines.
• Assist in curriculum updates and development of training materials.
• Production & Creative Contribution
• Collaborate with the academy for in-house photography and cinematography projects.
• Support content creation for marketing, events, and social media.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Photography, Cinematography, or related media field.
• 2–5 years of professional or teaching experience in photography and videography.
• Proficiency in using DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, studio lighting, and gimbals.
• Strong command of editing tools: Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred:

• Experience working on commercial or independent photo/video projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
