Photographer-Stylist (Product)

We’re looking for a hands-on Photographer-Stylist (Product) to work closely with our photographer and creative team to style, arrange and prepare products for photography. You’ll be responsible for turning raw product inventory into camera-ready setups, suggesting props/backgrounds, making quick on-set tweaks, and ensuring every still and lifestyle image matches Divine Hindu’s visual standards.

Type: Full-time (Monday to Saturday - in-office)

Location: Plot 558, Sector 27, Gurgaon

Suggested salary band: ₹20,000–₹30,000 / month (depends on experience & portfolio).

Key responsibilities

• Style products for stills and short video shoots (jewellery, malas, idols, incense boxes, frames, apparel).
• Prepare and maintain styling kit: props, fabrics, stands, tapes, tweezers, clamps, reflectors, small props, adhesives, cleaning kits.
• Assist the photographer on set: arrange products, reposition props, hold reflectors, adjust lighting flags, and tidy between shots.
• Execute micro-styling tasks (stringing beads, polishing metals, removing dust/fibers, aligning beads/threads).
• Suggest backgrounds, surfaces, and props that match brand aesthetics and the brief.
• Work closely with art director/creative lead to interpret moodboards and translate them into real setups quickly.
• Ensure product integrity: handle fragile items carefully, log any damages, and liaise with inventory/operations.
• Quick on-set retouch prep: mark hotspots, flag scratches, or indicate where rework is required.
• Keep shoot area organized; pack/unpack styling kit and ensure props inventory is maintained.
• Help QA final images on set (composition, crop, visible defects) before wrap.
• Occasionally assist in simple post-production checks and provide notes for retouching team.

Must-have skills & experience

• 1–4 years experience as a product stylist, prop stylist, or assistant on e-commerce / product shoots.
• Strong eye for composition, colour, texture, and scale.
• Comfortable handling delicate materials (stones, beads, metals) and small jewellery.
• Fast, detail-oriented, patient, and able to work under time pressure.
• Basic knowledge of photography terms (aperture, focal length, depth of field, white balance) — not required to operate camera but to communicate with photographer.
• Comfortable standing for long shoots and doing light physical work (lifting small sets/props).
• Portfolio of styled product shots (link or images) — required for screening.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-have

• Experience styling jewellery, gemstone products, or ritual/spiritual products.
• Basic makeup for product (applying polish, cleaning metals) and prop making skills.
• Familiarity with macro/product photography techniques and LED/strobe lighting setups.
• Experience with moodboard tools (Pinterest, Figma) and simple prop sourcing.
