Job Description

Capture high-quality photographs of university events, campus life, faculty, students, and infrastructure for use across digital and print platforms.

Conduct professional photo shoots for promotional campaigns, academic programs, brochures, and student testimonials.

Take portraits of faculty, students, and alumni for official publications, websites, and press releases.

Plan and execute photo coverage for convocation ceremonies, guest lectures, MoU signings, and cultural events.

Work with the creative and marketing teams to develop a consistent visual language aligned with the university s brand identity.

Edit and retouch photos using professional software to ensure clarity, color accuracy, and visual impact.

Organize, catalog, and maintain a digital photo archive for easy access and future reference.

Scout and prepare locations for shoots, ensuring proper lighting and composition.

Stay updated on photography trends, techniques, and gear to produce visually engaging content.

Manage and maintain photography equipment, ensuring everything is in good working condition.

Ensure proper photo rights, permissions, and copyright compliance before use.

Required Skills & Tools:

Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop

Familiarity with Canon / Nikon / Sony DSLR or Mirrorless cameras

Knowledge of composition, lighting, and retouching techniques

Experience with photo cataloging and digital asset management tools

Understanding of image resolution and formatting for web and print

Ability to shoot in both natural and studio lighting conditions
