Photo Stylist

Role Summary

Product Stylist

• Plan and style

  flat lays, table-top and model shoots

  for products (bracelets, malas, idols, gift sets, etc.)
• Create

  styling references / moodboards

  for each category and campaign.
• Select and arrange

  props, backgrounds, fabrics, textures and lighting feel

  to match brand aesthetics.
• Ensure

  consistency of look

  across website, marketplaces and social media (angles, crops, shadows, color tone).
• Work with photographers to decide

  hero angles, detail close-ups, scale shots and lifestyle frames

  .
• Prep products before shoot – cleaning, steaming, arranging sets, checking defects.
• Maintain a

  styling library

  (props, backdrops, surfaces) and keep it organised.
• Coordinate with marketing for

  campaign-specific looks

  (festivals, offers, collections).
• Give basic feedback on

  retouching & color correction

  to keep images true-to-product.
• Keep track of

  trends in e-commerce photography

  and suggest new styling ideas.

• 1–3 years’ experience as

  Product Stylist / Visual Merchandiser / E-commerce Shoot Stylist

  (fresher with strong portfolio can be considered).
• Strong eye for

  composition, color, texture and detail

  .
• Experience styling for

  jewellery / lifestyle / fashion / home decor

  is a big plus.
• Basic understanding of

  studio lighting & camera angles

  (you don’t have to shoot, but must know what works).
• Ability to work on

  tight timelines

  and multiple shoots in a week.
• Comfortable working on-site in the studio/warehouse during shoot days.
• Portfolio with

  before/after or styled shoot examples

  is mandatory.

• Highly

  detail-oriented & organised

• Strong

  aesthetic sense

  aligned with premium Indian/spiritual lifestyle brands
• Collaborative – can work with photographers, designers, marketing & catalog teams
• Proactive with ideas, not just execution
