- Perform venipunctures and collect blood specimens from patients of all age groups with precision and care
- Label and process samples accurately to ensure proper handling and timely delivery to the laboratory- Conduct routine lab tests and procedures under the supervision of laboratory personnel- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal operation- Keep detailed and accurate records of all specimens collected and tests performed- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sterile work environment- Assist with inventory management by tracking and ordering supplies as needed- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns and ensuring a comfortable environment during procedures

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in phlebotomy or medical laboratory technology is preferred
- Proven experience as a phlebotomist or lab technician, with a strong understanding of blood collection techniques- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care- Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and procedures- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
