🎓 Eligibility:

This call is only for candidates who have already secured a rank for a JRF fellowship, such as:

CSIR/UGC NET-JRF (Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Statistics), INSPIRE Fellowship (DST), DBT-JRF (Life Sciences/Ecology)

🔍 What we are looking for

- Master’s degree in Mathematics / Statistics / Physics / Ecology/ Environmental Science or related fields

- Strong interest in ecological modeling, biodiversity research & conservation

- Essential: Proficiency in coding (R / Python / Matlab / C++ or similar)

- Motivation to carry out long-term independent research as part of a collaborative team

🔬 Research Themes:

- Statistical & mathematical modeling of ecosystems

- Biodiversity forecasting under global change

- Nonlinear dynamics, time series, spatio-temporal modeling

- Data science & machine learning applications in ecology
