Pharmacy Manager

As a Pharmacy Manager, your role involves overseeing sales assistants, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other pharmacy employees. You will be responsible for preparing drugs and executing prescription orders for collection or delivery. Additionally, ordering pharmacy supplies and controlling the inventory on a daily basis will be part of your key responsibilities. It is important to enforce best practice protocols when storing prescription drugs and controlled substances, as well as verifying prescription details with healthcare specialists when required. Your duties will also include advising customers about the recommended use, dosage, and possible side-effects of medication, maintaining an approved drug and controlled substances list, and verifying expiry dates. Monitoring product displays and shelves, along with ensuring the general appearance of the pharmacy is maintained, are crucial aspects of this role. You will be expected to address customers" requests and complaints, as well as appoint and train new pharmacy employees and schedule shifts.
