Pharmacy Manager

As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of sales assistants, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other pharmacy employees. Your duties will include preparing drugs and executing prescription orders for collection or delivery. Additionally, you will be in charge of ordering pharmacy supplies, controlling inventory daily, and enforcing best practice protocols for storing prescription drugs and controlled substances. In this role, you will need to verify prescription details with healthcare specialists as needed and provide advice to customers on the recommended use, dosage, and potential side effects of medications. It will also be your responsibility to maintain an approved drug and controlled substances list, ensuring that expiry dates are verified. Monitoring product displays, shelves, and the overall appearance of the pharmacy will be part of your daily tasks. You will also be expected to address customer requests and complaints promptly. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in appointing and training new pharmacy employees, as well as scheduling shifts to ensure smooth operations.
