Role & responsibilities : Dispensing & Medication Management Accurately dispense medicines as per physician prescriptions. Counsel patients on proper usage, dosage, and potential side effects of medications. Maintain patient medication records in accordance with medical confidentiality guidelines. Inventory & Stock Management Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies. Maintain cold chain and storage conditions as per drug regulations. Ensure timely procurement of medicines and avoid stock-outs or expiry losses. Emergency & First Aid Support Assist medical officers during workplace emergencies, injuries, and first aid procedures. Prepare and maintain emergency medicine kits for various departments and ambulances. Compliance & Documentation Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Drugs & Cosmetics Act, and relevant EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations. Maintain accurate logs of medicine usage, controlled substances, and audits. Support internal and external audits, including those by statutory authorities. Health & Safety Programs Participate in workplace health campaigns (e.g., vaccinations, de-addiction drives). Support health surveillance programs like periodic medical examinations and health screenings. Coordination Liaise with local medical suppliers and hospitals for emergency support. Coordinate with occupational health staff, nurses, and EHS teams. Preferred candidate profile: Education: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm) from a recognized institution. License: Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration. Experience: 35 years of relevant experience, preferably in industrial or occupational health settings. Industry Preference: Experience in heavy industries like Iron & Steel, Mining, or Manufacturing is desirable.

Brief about the Team Prescription Validation & Digitization comes under the E-pharmacy vertical of TATA 1MG. The team works closely with the org-wide leadership team, business, product, growth, and category teams to drive operational excellence and strategic initiatives. The team works on special projects and innovations that aim to deliver high impact. What will you do Prescription Validation & Digitization Read & validate prescriptions (Rx) received through the online method and process them as per the prescribed guidelines. Connect with the customers via telephonic channel and help them to create the cart as per the given valid Prescription. Digitize the valid prescriptions. Compliance Ensure strong quality checks while processing the prescription orders. Ensure 100% compliance per the SOP of pharmacy. What we are looking for Diploma or Bachelor (D. Pharma or B. Pharma). Current state license to practice pharmacy. 2+ year of relevant experience (pharmacist), ePharmacy experience would be preferred Flexibility to work in rotational shifts & week offs Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service abilities. Excellent prescription reading skills. Pharmacists should be able to resolve customer queries through voice channel.
