As a Prescription Oversight Specialist, your role involves reviewing prescriptions for high-risk therapeutic areas and ensuring alignment with clinical guidelines and patient-specific factors. You will proactively communicate with doctors to resolve ambiguities or suggest optimizations, in addition to sharing structured feedback and insights from patient interactions. Your responsibilities also include educating patients on medication adherence, side effects, and lifestyle modifications when required. Acting as a bridge between patients and healthcare providers, especially in post-prescription support programs, will be crucial. Moreover, providing device training to patients is also part of your duties. In the context of the Additional Roles and Responsibilities in the PSP Program, you will be conducting regular audits of tele-educator calls to assess and enhance both soft skills (e.g., empathy, communication) and technical competencies (e.g., product knowledge, adverse event handling). Designing and delivering structured training programs for tele-educators, focusing on soft skills development, technical knowledge related to therapeutic areas (e.g., oncology, diabetes, obesity, IBD), process adherence, and compliance protocols will be essential. You will also coordinate with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to ensure timely follow-up and documentation of reported adverse events, in alignment with pharmacovigilance requirements. Acting as the primary point of contact for resolving escalations raised by tele-educators, including complex patient cases, communication challenges, and operational issues, is part of your role. In terms of Stakeholder Engagement, you will collaborate with physicians and specialists, pharmaceutical companies and health authorities, as well as patient support teams and educators.
