Job Summary:
A pharmacist is a healthcare professional responsible for dispensing prescription medications to patients accurately and safely. They provide advice on the proper use of medications, manage drug therapies, and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards. Pharmacists also collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients according to prescriptions.
• Counsel patients on the correct use, dosage, and possible side effects of medications.
• Review and monitor patient medication regimens for efficacy and safety.
• Provide advice to healthcare professionals on drug interactions, contraindications, and proper medication use.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medical conditions, and drug therapies.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of medications ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Ensure all prescriptions and documentation meet legal and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in health promotion and education initiatives.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid pharmacist license or registration.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, pharmaceutical calculations, and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software and technology.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
