Roles & Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medicines accurately and safely.

Review prescriptions to ensure correct dosage and check for drug interactions.

Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage.

Maintain proper records of prescriptions and inventory.

Manage stock levels of medicines and place orders when required.

Provide health advice on OTC (over-the-counter) medicines.

Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards.

Handle billing, insurance claims, and customer queries.

Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the pharmacy.

Monitor expiry dates and ensure removal of outdated stock.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of medications and pharmaceutical regulations.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer and billing software knowledge.

Qualification:

D.Pharm or B.Pharm (mandatory).

Registered Pharmacist License from State Pharmacy Council
