Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and reliable Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, counseling patients, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Valid State Pharmacy Council registration/license.
Good knowledge of medications and pharmaceutical terminology.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer skills for billing and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
Verify and review doctors’ prescriptions for correctness and legality.
Provide information and advice on dosage, side effects, interactions, and storage of medications.
Maintain and manage pharmacy inventory, including stock checks and expiry monitoring.
Label and package medications properly.
Maintain patient records and pharmacy files as per guidelines.
Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Counsel patients on health and wellness, medication adherence, and lifestyle changes if needed.
Coordinate with doctors and healthcare providers for clarification and patient care.
Follow all legal and ethical requirements related to pharmacy operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
