Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescribed medications accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and potential drug interactions.
  • Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring proper storage of drugs.
  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, purchases, and controlled substances.
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical laws and hospital/clinic policies.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Participate in quality assurance, audits, and continuing education programs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm).
  • Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and drug regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,745.89 - ₹27,885.88 per month
