Job Overview

The PGT – Physics will be responsible for teaching Physics to senior school students (Grades 9 & 12) with a focus on conceptual clarity, scientific inquiry, and exam preparedness. The teacher should inspire students to develop analytical skills and a deep understanding of physical concepts through interactive and hands-on learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons in alignment with the CBSE curriculum and school standards.
• Design and conduct laboratory experiments to support theoretical learning.
• Prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams through structured practice and guidance.
• Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Integrate technology, simulations, and multimedia tools to make learning effective and interactive.
• Maintain lab records, ensure safety procedures, and oversee practical assessments.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to promote interdisciplinary learning.
• Participate in school events, science exhibitions, and academic enrichment programs.
• Engage in continuous professional development and curriculum improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s Degree in Physics.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – mandatory.
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (preferably in a CBSE school).
• Strong conceptual understanding and ability to relate Physics principles to real-life applications.
• Proficiency in using smart classroom tools and educational technology.
