PGT Maths Teacher

(PGT) Mathematics teacher's role is to plan and deliver math lessons for senior secondary students, focusing on preparing them for exams and developing their problem-solving skills. Key duties include creating lesson plans, conducting assessments, providing feedback, tracking student progress, and fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
Location: Peelamedu, Coimbatore.1. Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that adhere to the established curriculum (e.g., CBSE standards). The goal is to ensure all learning objectives and content requirements are met for students in senior secondary grades. 2. Deliver engaging and effective lessons using a variety of teaching methods, including educational technology, to cater to diverse student learning styles. This involves fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a positive and stimulating learning environment. 3. Create, administer, and accurately grade assignments, homework, quizzes, and exams to assess student understanding and progress. Use assessment data to inform teaching practices and provide timely, constructive feedback to students. 4. Prepare students thoroughly for board examinations and competitive exams . Provide individual support, conduct remedial or enrichment classes, and motivate students to achieve academic excellence. 5. Maintain an orderly, disciplined, and safe classroom environment by establishing and enforcing rules of behavior. Encourage active participation and a positive, respectful atmosphere conducive to learning for all students. 6. Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance and progress, such as during parent-teacher meetings. Collaborate with colleagues, the Head of Department, and administration to ensure continuity in educational programs and overall school development. 7. Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events to stay updated on educational initiatives. Maintain accurate and complete student records (attendance, grades, etc.)
