Role Overview: As a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Humanities specializing in Political Science and Geography, you will be joining our esteemed CBSE-affiliated residential school in Ranchi. Your main responsibility will be to deliver high-quality education, foster analytical thinking, and prepare students for board examinations. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background and prior teaching experience in reputed CBSE residential schools in India. Key Responsibilities: - Teach Political Science and Geography to students of Classes XI and XII following the CBSE curriculum. - Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with CBSE guidelines. - Foster an engaging and interactive learning environment to enhance students" understanding of concepts. - Guide students in solving complex problems, case studies, and project work. - Prepare students for board examinations through regular assessments, mock tests, and doubt-clearing sessions. - Integrate modern teaching methodologies, including technology-based learning tools. - Mentor and counsel students to help them achieve academic excellence and provide career guidance. - Collaborate with colleagues, participate in faculty meetings, and contribute to school activities. - Maintain discipline and promote ethical and professional conduct among students. - Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with curriculum changes. Qualification Required: - Masters degree M.A in Political Science, Geography, or a related field. - B.Ed. (Mandatory) from a recognized institution. - Minimum of 5-6 years of teaching experience in Political Science & Geography in a reputed CBSE-affiliated residential school. - Excellent command over English with strong communication and presentation skills. - Proficiency in using digital tools and technology in education. - Strong classroom management and student engagement skills. - Ability to stay updated with the latest changes in CBSE syllabus and teaching methodologies.
