Job Description

Job title:

Teach English to students from Grade 10 upto Grade 12 with a strong focus on preparing senior secondary students for CBSE board exams.
Develop and implement well-structured lesson plans that promote a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and their applications.
Mentor junior teachers in the department, providing guidance on best teaching practices and classroom management strategies to ensure high-quality instruction.
Assess and track students progress through formative and summative assessments, offering constructive feedback to support their growth.
Encourage students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, preparing them for academic success and real-world applications of English.
Provide support in organizing and supervising English-related extracurricular activities, competitions, and projects.
Actively participate in departmental and school-wide meetings, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by school leadership, contributing to the broader life of the school.

Qualifications and Skills:

In-depth knowledge of the CBSE curriculum for Grades 11 and 12.
Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge students and help them excel in English.
Fluency in English, with excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Proven ability to mentor and guide junior teachers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment within the department.
