PGT ENGLISH TEACHER

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced PGT English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English education, fostering critical thinking, and inspiring a love for literature and language.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and structured lessons as per the English curriculum for higher secondary classes.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in alignment with board guidelines (CBSE/State Board).
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
• Create an interactive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning.
• Encourage student participation in debates, elocution, writing competitions, and other co-curricular English activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and discipline.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding academic performance.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in English (preferred) + B.Ed. (Mandatory)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience as a PGT English Teacher in a reputed institution
• Strong command of spoken and written English
• Ability to use technology and smart classroom tools effectively
• Passion for teaching and mentoring young minds
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies
• Experience with preparing students for board exams
• Creative approach to lesson delivery and content development
• Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and school development initiatives

Salary: As per qualification and experience
