The role of PGT- Computers at SRMPS involves teaching Computer Science to senior secondary students (Grades 11-12) and occasionally middle school (Grades 9-10) following the prescribed curriculum of CBSE. As a PGT- Computers, your responsibilities will include lesson planning, classroom teaching, lab supervision, and preparing students for board exams and competitive environments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Teaching and Curriculum Delivery - Lab Management and Practical Work - Student Assessment and Evaluation - Technology Integration - Academic Contribution and Events - Classroom Management and Discipline - Coordination and Communication **Qualifications and Experience:** - Educational Qualification: Masters Degree (M.Sc. or M.Tech.) in Computer Science / IT or equivalent. B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory as per CBSE/ICSE norms. - Experience: Minimum 25 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (preferred). Experience in curriculum planning and student mentoring is an advantage. **Skills and Attributes:** - Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.) - Strong knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of computer science. - Familiarity with educational technologies and online teaching tools. - Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills. - Passion for teaching and motivating young learners.
