Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PGT Chemistry to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and critical thinking. The teacher will deliver lessons in accordance with the curriculum and encourage students to explore the world of Chemistry through inquiry-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver Chemistry lessons in line with the curriculum.

• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for Chemistry.

• Assess students’ progress through assignments, quizzes, practicals, and examinations.

• Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.

• Organize Chemistry-related activities such as experiments, field trips, exhibitions, and Chemistry fairs.

• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students’ academic performance.

• Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.

• Ensure classroom management and discipline in accordance with school policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemistry or Education with a focus on Chemistry subjects.

• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification (preferred).

• Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the Intermediate level.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Passion for teaching and ability to inspire students.

• Knowledge of modern educational tools and technologies.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with [CBSE/ICSE/State/IB/IGCSE] curriculum.

• Experience in conducting Chemistry exhibitions or research projects.

• Fluency in English and [regional language, if applicable].
