The counsellor will provide academic, emotional, social and career guidance to help students succeed, grow holistically, and overcome personal or academic challenges. Key Responsibilities Offer individual and group counselling to address students’ emotional, social, behavioural and academic-planning needs. Guide students in academic planning, study-skills, career / future-education counselling and transitions. Collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians and school administration to ensure coordinated student support; maintain confidentiality and proper documentation. Minimum Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology / Counselling / Child & Adolescent Psychology / Social Work (or related). At least 2–3 years of prior experience as counsellor — preferably in a school or child/adolescent-focused setting. Empathy, active listening, sensitivity to children & adolescents, non-judgmental attitude. Good understanding of mental-health issues in young people, behavioural guidance, trauma awareness or therapy-informed counselling (advantageous).
