: PERL development skills with good knowledge of Python, TSQL / SQL Server to be able to create compatible code.
P2
: ADO/Git and release management practices as commonly related to development cycle.
P3
: Monitoring / alerting etc. – nice to have.
P4
: Automation tools familiarity – nice to have.

Day-to-Day Expectation:

Application code conversion for compatibility between
Sybase to MS SQL
.
Majority of the code is in
PERL
.
Some code may be converted to
Python
(preferred language for sustainability).
If not feasible, compatible code will need to be created in
PERL
.
PERL expertise is necessary.
