Performance Testing with Loadrunner

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Engineer with over 4 years of experience in using the Micro Focus Load Runner suite to validate and optimize the performance of complex web applications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of web technologies, hands-on experience with cloud solutions, and expertise in various Load Runner protocols. This role requires working collaboratively in large, multi-stakeholder organizations to ensure optimal system performance across network, storage, and server infrastructures. The candidate must possess exceptional analytical skills, be self-motivated, and have the ability to manage escalations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct performance validation and optimization using the Micro Focus Load Runner suite.

Design and execute performance test plans, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency of web applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data center network, storage, and server infrastructure teams, to resolve performance issues.

Provide expertise in web technologies, application infrastructure, networking, and performance testing protocols such as Web (HTTP/HTML) and AJAX TruClient.

Lead and manage virtual, cross-cultural teams in a large organization to deliver performance engineering solutions.

Work with cloud migration projects, applying knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud solutions to ensure smooth transition and performance optimization.

Identify, analyze, and escalate critical matters to ITS leadership as necessary, ensuring timely resolution of performance bottlenecks.

Maintain detailed performance testing documentation and provide actionable recommendations for performance improvements.

Stay up-to-date with the latest performance engineering tools, technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

4+ years of hands-on experience with Micro Focus Load Runner suite.

12 years of experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Prior exposure to cloud migration efforts.

Technical Expertise:

Deep understanding of web technologies and application infrastructures.

Strong knowledge of networking principles, storage systems, and server infrastructures.

Proficiency in Web (HTTP/HTML) and AJAX TruClient protocols.

Soft Skills:

Excellent collaboration and leadership skills in multi-stakeholder, virtual, and cross-cultural organizations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with all organizational levels.

Self-motivated with critical decision-making capabilities and the ability to manage escalations efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of additional performance testing tools or scripting languages.

Certifications in performance engineering, cloud technologies, or Load Runner.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
