Performance Test Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the performance testing efforts across projects, managing and delivering end-to-end performance testing lifecycle.
  
• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using RPT, JMeter, and LoadRunner.
  
• Analyze system behavior under load, stress, and endurance conditions to identify bottlenecks.
  
• Monitor application performance using tools like Dynatrace and AppDynamics and interpret results to provide actionable insights.
  
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
  
• Create and maintain performance test plans, scenarios, and detailed test cases.
  
• Present performance test findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders with clear articulation.
  
• Engage with clients to understand requirements, present test results, and suggest improvements.
  
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior performance testing team members.
  
• Continuously improve performance testing processes and methodologies.
  
• Stay updated with latest trends and advancements in performance testing, tools, and techniques.
  

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience as a Performance Testing Lead.
  
• Strong expertise in performance testing tools:
  
• Rational Performance Tester (RPT)
  
• Apache JMeter
  
• Micro Focus LoadRunner
  
• Proficient in performance test scripting and automation.
  
• Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools: Dynatrace, AppDynamics.
  
• Good understanding of Microservices architecture and API performance testing.
  
• Experience in analyzing and tuning system performance at application and infrastructure levels.
  
• Proven ability to manage the entire performance testing lifecycle from planning to execution and reporting.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
