Performance Test Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities: Conduct performance testing and engineering for large web applications and APIs. Design and execute load, stress, and scalability tests using LoadRunner/JMeter. Develop and implement performance engineering strategies. Create and manage API collections using Postman. Define, monitor, and report on performance metrics. Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with System Architects and DevOps teams for resolution. Utilize database and SQL skills for performance tuning. Lead small teams on new initiatives. Use monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Splunk. Perform SQL stress testing and dotnet code analysis. Develop and maintain performance scenarios. Generate performance reports for stakeholders. Implement endurance, soak, and stress test methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or 4+ years of relevant experience). 4-5 years of experience in performance testing and engineering. Strong analytical, research, and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in web, database, and API performance testing. Experience with monitoring tools analysis. Independent, proactive, and detail-oriented. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Added Advantages: Experience in performance tuning and optimization with databases. Familiarity with ASP.Net and Microsoft dotnet framework. Database experience (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.). Knowledge of open-source tools. Experience with SOAPUI, Postman, JMeter, Visual Studio Load Testing, and Node JS performance testing.
