This is an exciting opportunity to join Oxford University Press (OUP) as a Performance Marketing Manager, where you’ll play a key role in driving brand discoverability and web traffic to generate leads and e-commerce sales. This role offers the chance to work on impactful projects across UK and international markets, leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies in digital advertising, SEO, and analytics. Opportunity – the ‘what’

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Manage and execute digital advertising campaigns across multiple markets and channels (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft Ads).
  • Optimize campaigns to maximize conversions and ROI, ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategies.
  • Conduct keyword analysis, provide creative recommendations, and deliver audience insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing and web teams to improve SEO and increase discoverability.
  • Ensure conversion tracking is accurate and up to date.
  • Produce clear, actionable performance reports for stakeholders.

Your impact will be significant—helping OUP remain discoverable across search engines, driving traffic, leads, and revenue, and supporting the organization’s e-commerce growth.

About You

Essential Criteria

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent data literacy.
  • Ability to communicate results effectively and work collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing requests.
  • Experience managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Good understanding of SEO and Google Analytics 4.
  • Experience with conversion tracking (Insight tags, Pixel tags, Google Tag Manager).
  • Previous experience delivering web marketing campaigns in-house or via agency.

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Ads and Conversion APIs.
  • Experience managing relationships with Google, LinkedIn, and Meta representatives.
