Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Performance Tester / Performance Test Lead with 5 to 8 years of experience in performance testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of performance testing processes, tools, and analysis techniques, and will be capable of leading performance testing initiatives across complex system .

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute end-to-end performance testing lifecycle: strategy, scripting, workload modeling, execution, analysis, and reporting.

• Gather and analyze Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) including production statistics, growth models, and infrastructure needs.

• Provide detailed performance analysis and actionable recommendations to improve system performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Utilize performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad , or WebLOAD .

• Monitor and interpret performance metrics across web, application, and database servers.

• Use performance monitoring tools to track system behavior and identify issues.

• Document and present performance test results and recommendations to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in performance testing.

• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.

• Expertise in at least one performance testing tool ( JMeter , LoadRunner, NeoLoad , WebLOAD ).

• Experience with performance monitoring tools and interpreting system metrics.

• Ability to analyze performance data and identify bottlenecks across different layers.

• Familiarity with web, application, and database server parameters.

• Proven ability to work independently and ramp up quickly on new projects.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Self-starter with minimal supervision required .

• Open to challenges and adaptable to changing environments.

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Desired Skills:

• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.

• Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud platforms.

• Experience in retail/e-commerce applications is a strong plus.
