Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade

    PeopleSoft application

    and

    PeopleTools

    components (Web Server, App Server, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker).
  • Administer and maintain multiple PeopleSoft environments (DEV, TEST, PROD).
  • Apply patches, bundles, tax updates, and change assistant packages.
  • Monitor system performance and availability, and troubleshoot environment-related issues.
  • Work closely with DBAs to manage

    PeopleSoft databases

    (Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Coordinate deployments, refreshes, and cloning of PeopleSoft environments.
  • Manage

    security configurations

    , including user profiles, roles, and permission lists.
  • Support integration with third-party systems via

    Integration Broker

    ,

    Web Services

    , and

    API

    .
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and change logs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 36+ years of experience as a

    PeopleSoft Administrator

    .
  • Strong expertise in

    PeopleSoft 9.x

    and

    PeopleTools 8.5x

    .
  • Experience with

    WebLogic

    ,

    Tuxedo

    ,

    Oracle Database

    , and

    PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM)

    .
  • Proficiency with

    Linux/Unix

    , shell scripting, and basic Windows server knowledge.
  • Familiarity with

    Load Balancers

    ,

    SSL configurations

    , and

    networking concepts

    .
  • Knowledge of

    Change Assistant

    ,

    Data Mover

    , and

    Configuration Manager

    .

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with

    PeopleSoft HCM

    ,

    FSCM

    , or

    Campus Solutions

    .
  • Exposure to

    cloud-hosted environments

    (OCI, AWS, Azure) for PeopleSoft.
  • Experience with

    automation tools

    for monitoring and deployment.
  • ITIL or other service management certifications.
