In this role within the People, Culture & Communications team, you will be responsible for various key activities: - Providing domain expertise to support the GBS HR Services teams in Pune and Kuala Lumpur, including data ingestion, transformation, and management within the Data Lake - Acting as a point of contact for customer concerns in Kuala Lumpur, conducting data investigations, and resolving issues - Ensuring all operational activities comply with data privacy regulations - Leading ad hoc data activities as needed - Developing techniques for quality data collection and formulating policies for effective data management - Supervising information systems and evaluating their performance for enhancements - Protecting digital databases and archives from security breaches and data losses Additionally, you will be involved in Change Management Delivery & Continuous Improvement by: - Managing process improvements and technical changes to data models to support bps strategic People Analytics offering - Contributing to backlog management, prioritization, sprint planning, and resource planning - Identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and increase value - Compiling clear solution and process documentation and facilitating knowledge transfer within the team - Providing coaching to team members Furthermore, you will lead Project Delivery by: - Independently leading projects or work streams to improve bps People Analytics platform and processes - Supporting project activities, including planning, resource coordination, and progress tracking - Coordinating activities between various teams to meet project goals and address critical issues - Ensuring excellent partner management and deputizing for the Data Lead when necessary Qualifications required for this role include: - Degree-level education or equivalent experience with 7-8 years of strong data, systems, or process background - Proficiency in SQL, experience with Python scripts, and familiarity with data warehousing or big data solutions - Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Azure, competence in Power BI and Power App, and experience with HR/people data and data privacy principles - Experience working within an AGILE framework and as part of a remote team Desirable criteria for this role include experience with applications like Power BI and Power App, familiarity with modern database technologies, and an analytical approach with problem-solving skills.
