PEM - Electrical

As a PEM - Electrical with 15+ years of experience in Substation Projects based in Saudi, your role involves ensuring engineering deliverables are in sync with project timelines through effective coordination and regular progress reviews. You will oversee and approve designs, drawings, and calculations for both Primary and Secondary substation systems (up to 765 kV GIS/AIS). Leading a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will allocate tasks and man-hours, driving productivity through reviews and mentoring. It is crucial for you to interface with Civil, Structural, MEP, and Instrumentation teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering scopes. Supervising vendor engineering, clarifying technical requirements, and ensuring timely delivery of materials in coordination with SCM and Contracts teams are part of your responsibilities. Engaging with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure deliverables meet expectations is essential. Implementing BIM, promoting digitalization, and driving standardization, cost-saving initiatives, and design optimizations are key aspects of your role. Lastly, fostering continuous learning, skill enhancement, and identifying successors for key engineering roles are critical for your success. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering. - Strong knowledge in design and execution of AIS/GIS Substations (up to 765 kV). - Proficiency in selection and integration of substation equipment (e.g., Transformers, Breakers, Instrument Transformers). - Expertise in Primary & Secondary Engineering including Earthing, Lighting, Cabling, Protection Schemes, SCADA & Control Systems. - Experience across diverse clients, utilities, and geographies with sound understanding of technical specifications and contract requirements.,
