Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead automation testing efforts for Pega applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to business requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for functional and API testing.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria.
Execute API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and early defect detection.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input on testing scope, timelines, and risk assessment.
Drive testing/QA transformation initiatives, adopting best practices in automation and DevOps integration.
Mentor team members on automation standards, scripting techniques, and quality best practices.
Communicate test progress, risks, and results effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
Stay up to date with emerging test automation tools, frameworks, and Pega testing methodologies.

Skills Required:

Strong hands-on experience in automation testing and API testing.
Proficiency with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Rest Assured, or equivalent).
Knowledge of Pega architecture and workflows.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in related field
Pega System Architect Certification is mandatory.
