Pediatrics Intensivist

As a Pediatrics Intensivist at Mediversal Multi Super Specialty Hospital, you will be an integral part of our pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), providing specialized care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, you will manage critical care, ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic procedures, medication management, family communication, and quality improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for delivering expert medical care to critically ill pediatric patients, diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions, and working closely with nurses, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists to ensure comprehensive care. Your role will involve managing advanced respiratory support, interpreting hemodynamic assessments, conducting diagnostic procedures, prescribing medications, and communicating effectively with families to offer support and counseling. To qualify for this position, you should hold a medical degree (MD) with specialization in Pediatrics, additional fellowship training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, a valid license to practice medicine, and board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Proficiency in managing critically ill pediatric patients, strong communication skills, compassion, empathy, and the ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations are essential.
