PEB Design Engineer

As a structural engineer with expertise in Staad Pro Connect and AutoCAD, you are expected to have a strong understanding of various codes such as IS, IBC, AISC, NBC, and Euro. Your primary responsibilities will include performing analytical calculations, designing, and planning the construction of new buildings and steel structures. This involves designing pre-engineered building systems, including framing, connections, and bracing, to meet project requirements and adhere to relevant codes and standards. Additionally, you will be leading a team of four to five design engineers, providing mentorship, and ensuring that their work aligns with the organization's objectives. Your role will also involve preparing design sketches, job cards, and general arrangement drawings (GADs) for projects, as well as interacting with the sales team to address queries during both the enquiry and job stages. You will be actively involved in internal discussions with the detailing team to resolve queries related to GADs and ensure smooth project execution. Job tracking, tonnage tracking, and obtaining GAD approvals are crucial aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will participate in meetings with clients and consultants to discuss project requirements and progress. Overall, as a team player, you are expected to contribute effectively to the design and execution of projects, provide valuable insights for optimal estimates through value engineering, and maintain a collaborative approach in all aspects of the job.,
