Piping Senior Designer / Group Leader Key Responsibilities: Developing Piping Designs: Creating and reviewing piping layouts, isometric drawings, and 3D models using CAD software. Ensuring Compliance: Ensuring designs adhere to relevant industry codes, standards, and project specifications (e.g., ASME, API). Collaborating with Teams: Working closely with engineers, other designers, and project teams to integrate piping systems into the overall project. Providing Technical Expertise: Offering guidance and recommendations on piping and plant layout to project stakeholders. Leading and Mentoring: May lead drafting teams, provide technical guidance to junior designers, and review designs for accuracy and feasibility. Documenting and Managing: Preparing technical specifications, material selections, and maintaining accurate records of design work. Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in CAD Software: Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software like AutoCAD Plant 3D Knowledge of Piping Systems: Understanding of piping design principles, materials, and equipment used in industrial facilities. Technical Proficiency: Ability to perform hydraulic and stress analysis, interpret P&IDs, and develop piping isometrics. Responsibilities: Designing of pre-engineered buildings using Design & Detailing software, Staad-Pro software, Auto Cad, etc. Preparation of Structural Design Basis including finalization of technical submittals based on Specifications & best practices to be used as per project requirements. Applies engineering principles to analyze, design, modify or develop structural systems, members and connections. Prepares or direct preparation of design and detailing drawing of connection like moment connection, simple connection, bracings, splice connection, base plate weld details. Analyse and resolves work problems or assist drafting sections. Performed duties in accordance with all applicable standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines to promote a safe working environment. Analysis and Design of Steel Structure, Pipe Racks, Auxiliary Equipments Supporting Structure, Pipe Supports, etc. Design of Steel structure, Hard rolled Steel, Cold form Steel, and PEB Steel. Providing support to Bid & Tendering Teams for Pre-Engineered Building, with proposal drawings. Review the architectural and customer drawings and specifications / codes. Review and approve the General arrangement drawings.
