Piping Senior Designer / Group Leader
Key Responsibilities:
Creating and reviewing piping layouts, isometric drawings, and 3D models using CAD software.
Ensuring designs adhere to relevant industry codes, standards, and project specifications (e.g., ASME, API).
Working closely with engineers, other designers, and project teams to integrate piping systems into the overall project.
Offering guidance and recommendations on piping and plant layout to project stakeholders.
May lead drafting teams, provide technical guidance to junior designers, and review designs for accuracy and feasibility.
Preparing technical specifications, material selections, and maintaining accurate records of design work.
Following company procedures, policies, and standards related to piping design and plant layout.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software like AutoCAD Plant 3D
Understanding of piping design principles, materials, and equipment used in industrial facilities.
Ability to perform hydraulic and stress analysis, interpret P&IDs, and develop piping isometrics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with various teams and stakeholders.
Ability to identify and resolve design issues, ensuring the functionality and safety of the piping system
