Job Description

As a Senior Project Leader in the 3 Phase UPS design team, your role will involve leading technical aspects and providing guidance to teams in various disciplines including mechanical, firmware, electrical, and power electronics. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the technical backlog for 3 phase UPS products and driving enhancements in R&D - Developing work plans, schedules, and overseeing project execution - Providing technical and project leadership to address field issues, implement new features, manage supply chain shortages, and lead product improvements - Representing R&D as a leader in the agile project squad, collaborating with other functions for seamless project execution - Providing progress reports to senior leadership and stakeholders - Analyzing project briefs and requirements to ensure alignment with customer needs, safety standards, and compliance - Offering coaching and technical mentorship to team members Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering; Master's degree in Power Electronics preferred - Minimum of 10 years of experience in project leadership within the power electronics or electrical engineering industry Key Skills & Experience: - Strong technical understanding of power electronics systems - Proven leadership and project management skills in a multi-disciplinary environment - Knowledge of power and control architecture of power converters/power supplies - End-to-end product development lifecycle experience in an R&D environment - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Excellent planning, organization, and execution abilities - Clear communication and reporting skills - Experience with engineering processes such as PMP, Agile, etc. - Strong knowledge of engineering design deliverables including DFM, DFMEA, FTA, EMI/EMC, safety, and regulatory compliance Join us at Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, where we are driving the digital transformation of energy systems to promote safety, efficiency, and sustainability in energy usage worldwide.
